You could use your XE cable with 64HDD. There is a free version that is totally acceptable for use with a VIC. You'll need a DOS PC, or one you can boot to DOS with a floppy. My own system is a Pentium 4 running MS-DOS 6.22 More info can be found at http://www.64hdd.com Once 64HDD is setup, you'll a...

Hi Michael, Gosh that was a fast reply. The answer to your question is yes, I can relocate it to most areas of memory. I already have roms that run at $A000 and $B000. It will run in conjunction with the Super Expander with a couple of gocha's at the moment. Perhaps I missed it, but is the $A000 ve...

If you can, perhaps you should make .d81 versions of your VIC-20 cart collection. As a matter of fact, I have D81s of all that stuff, complete with the menus etc. With 64HDD, I use D81s pretty exclusively. But, I figured D64s would be good for folks who need to create real 1541 disks. Of course, yo...

New Website
I've moved my bits and pieces of things I keep online to a new host. I'd appreciate it if a few folks would check it out and see if it looks OK.

Just out of interest, does anyone use 64HDD with a VIC-20? Yes, I use 64HDD 100% of the time with my VIC. Works great. Software loads at 1540 speeds, but that's usually not an issue with VIC stuff since it's so small. If you have the Pro version of 64HDD and the Pwr-Load cable, the loading speed is...
