Problem with Vice on Windows Vista

I'd like my brother (now working in england as architect... great job bros!!

) to see a vic demo (OMD, really great!!) but his notebook with windows vista doesn't want to make the emulator work... Someone has any ideas on how to solve this sort of incompatibility? thanks in advance guys! P.S. : the emulator is winvice 1.22.

I use VICE 1.22 with Vista regularly, with no problems.

I do have problems with VICE on Vista. Sometimes it doesn't start at all. Sometimes, it works but there is a warning about that it changes the Windows palette.

My brother has the same problem... how did you do to make it start regularly? Or isn't it possible?

I haven't done anything. Just tried it now and it didn't start at all...

I downloaded and installed it again, and now it works without any troubles.
