Cartridges and Tapes - Add to a comprehensive list?

Post by vicassembly »

I know of the vic20tapes.org as well as http://www.commodore.ca/manuals/funet/c ... tlist.html.

I have purchased quite a few tapes that do not exist in the tape site and I have one cartridge that does not show up in the cartridge list.

Is anyone keeping these up to date? Is there a process for submitting new finds?

Bo's tape site is only what he personally owns, not everything. And that cart list is horribly out of date now. Which cartridge is it anyhow? Generally everything Vic20 related that exists is tracked by myself for GB20...

The cartridge

Close Encounters of the Worst Kind - by Machine Language

Ok guys.... WE NEED a definitive list of all tapes and all cartridges. Could we have this live in DENIAL somewhere? While we are at it we should have bibliography.

My wife loves making fun of me being in DENIAL. This group is starting to feel like a home away from home.

I own Close Encounters myself, so don't worry, it's definitely accounted for ;)

I'm starting to add vic-20 tapes to retrocollector.org now..
I will make photos of all games and dump all tapes..
This site is made for collectors who want to register their collections and check for mising games / what was really included in all those boxes anyway etc..
The c64 and vic-20 sections will be the most active sections at first..
We are looking for people with large collections that are willing to contribute and become admins of specific systems.
It's quite a lot of work doing the vic-20 section as there are very little info out there, I need to dump every game to know what the in-game title is.

Have you seen the large cartridge and tape list in the Denial WIKI (to to the denial homepage to see the link to it)? That is supposed to be exactly what you are talking about....and if there are any games missing they can be added by any registered Denial user.
