Exactly... it's takes two to tango on eBay.

It finished during the night your time? Ah, can understand why you proxied and didn't snipe then. I do that sometimes if I don't want to wake up in the night, but generally I proxy as late as possible...

And this, folks, is why I snipe... no chance of shilling or underbidding.

Almost. US Attack of the Mutant Camels = UK Matrix on both Vic20 and C64. To us here, Attack of the Mutant Camels is the "Empire Strikes Back" 2600 Parker Bros game clone.

Sadly not. I don't think you can get more than composite out of a Vic20 (S-video on a C64).

Well it's off centre on my UMD TAP with PAL xVic, so I guess that's true to form then...

I was refering to the onefile PRG there... interesting... no position reset.

I've made a TAP of my original so I'll load that up in both NTSC and PAL and see if I get the screen off centre for the latter...

All copies are NTSC. It's off the left on my actual Vic20 and there is no screen repositioning available. Centred fine though in either video format within Vice however...

Exactly... no Matrix? No Jelly Monsters? No Ultima Mount Drash? :P

Okay, maybe I kid on the third one there... but the other two are brilliant for the hardware.

True, though sadly Crossfire is only a tape. I have all of them myself complete apart from Jawbreaker II... which I have loose now thanks to another auction.

For TAPage I actually use a 1531 (the C16 version) and a X1531 cable myself... and what it is that auction is NOT an X1531 cable as said. 1531 has a din plug type interface instead of the flat circuit board approach...

Does what the auction says it does :) You connect one end to the datasette, and the other ends to your PC (one goes to parallel port for data transfer, the other to a joystick port for 5V power). Then you can use PTAP and MTAP to transfer tape games to and from them. Not really quite seen that style...

Oh I realise that, but as you said, putting it back to tape = very tricky. Any form of the game that people can play = good as long as it can't be transfered back to tape for pirate copies :P
