It is mad to think that these, once thought of as tat, grasp a hold of your imagination. There must've been loads of these tapes (100's or 1000's) at one time and they, presumably, ended up in peoples bins until present day when the game has become your 'Rosebud'. A similar thing happened to me with...

Hey Jeff? Why don't you put a wee advert and a link to the Megacart on the main page of the site? Maybe that could be beneficial to both parties? Just asking since it's the biggest thing to hit the VIC world in quite some time. :)

Is There a 'Complete' List of VIC Games?

I know there is the Digital Archeology site that contains loads of cart info but is there anywhere that has a comprehensive list of VIC games on tape and disc? Is VICTapes.ORG the best there is? I presume there wasn't many games released on disc for the VIC but I'm not sure how many games were relea...

Digging this thread up from the grave I though I'd add my tuppence worth: This site, the Mega-Cart and Robotic Liberation are all no-brainers for me - these 3 things are unsurpassed in the VIC world. From a game point of view I'd have to choose Aleksi Eeben's Dragonwing. That game, while simple in g...

Wow, oh wow! Macguyver, well done buddy-mate-pal! I used to love this game as well but had completely forgotten all about it! What a flashback that was just seeing the screenie!! It's scarey just how easy it is to lose something like this forever...I mean, if I could love this when I was wee but the...

I'm with Goran here. I think a Mega version would be pretty cool. Just something a wee bitty different and exclusive on the cart of all carts. :)

When did you place your order? At the end of the ordering process on the site it states that you'll get a mail within a day (if I remember correctly!). :)

BTW: I like the poster. It's going to go above my computer desk. I wish I worked in an office just so that I could show off! :P

Aha! The site is open for business! I've placed an order and cannot wait... :)

Glad to hear that it's version 1.1. It's like Christmas all over again!

I have watched Wrath of Khan hundreds of times and I have never seen that! It just show you, eh? I wonder how many other cheesy sci fi films and programmes have old Commodores in them. *Trundles off to watch 45 years worth of Dr Who...*

Yeah, the online emu by Kweepa is pretty cool but it's a nightmare to play on my laptop with no number pad and a native resolution of 1920x1200! At least it has a decent aspect ratio (I'm looking at you ViCE!).

As for GB20 the only reason I didn't mention it is because I didn't want to jinx it. :P

For me I think the biggest thing to happen in 2008, in a VIC sense anyway, was discovering this site and its pretty active forum. Super geeky people playing about on a computer from quarter of a century ago - what more could you ask for! :) For 2009 it's a given (unless there's a really big secret!)...
