So i know the system had a few revisions over it's lifetime(label, power connector...) How can i identify potentially if mine is an earlier or later batch/model?

Also where any ever manufactured in Canada? Mine has a sticker saying so but i don't think it's legit...

Pics of my machine for reference.

There's a bunch of systems listed as made in Canada in the registry

https://cbmvic.net/registry

Open the case and record the date codes on the main chips, the newest of those gives an absolute earliest date for your system.

Interesting. Thank you. Will have to add my system there.

I imagine they are easy to open. Just a fee screws and it pops open? Just gotta watch for keyboard cable i suspect?

Three screws at the front, tip the front up, there should be enough slack in the keyboard cable. Some models (maybe only PAL) have a silvered cardboard shield you will need to lift up to get to the motherboard.

Seems to have been made sometime mid 1982.
