A port of victracker from DASM to CA65.

You need an actual VIC.

A port of victracker from DASM to CA65.

Post by nanoflite »

Hi,

For an upcoming game, I ported the player of victracker to ca65.

I just wanted to point this out, maybe someone can also make us of this...

Cheers,
Johan

Blimey! Impressive stuff nanoflite.

I'm assuming the demo tracks are multi-tracked? Surely you can't do that stuff with just arpeggiating.

All the hard work was done by Daniel Kahlin, who wrote the tracker. But yes, the tracker has 4 channels, one for each VIC sound channel. I just ported it to be compatible with the ca65 assembler.

Are there a lot of inconsistencies with the different assemblers?
Was it a big job?
