Recently, due to a clip dedicated to gramophones, about which I happen to be more or less a sort of "expert", I came in contact with the clips of a YouTuber named TechMoan, who is a very amusing fellow who shows and demonstrates in an ironic and intelligent way a *huge* lot of things that belong to past technologies, mainly audio/video or HiFi gear, but also retrogaming and retrocomputing stuff on occasion.

I'm very fond of his sense of humour and self-criticism, and I also appreciate the information depth of his clips, which are definitely not of the fly-by type. Sometimes in his clips there are also intermissions by muppet-style puppets depicting stereotyped chaps, which are exhilarating in most cases. His clip list is already vast, and I'm watching one or two each day as most of the subjects he talks about are of great interest to me.

It's "amusing" how YouTube etc. costantly try to "profilate" my account, and I get the most idiotic suggestions about what might interest me (but conversely I wouldn't watch not even if I was paid for) while on the other hand I got in touch with this TechMoan fellow - who is a sort of lost brother to me - just by mere coincidence. But enough of this: it could be the topic of another loooong specific thread.

In this video he shows his two Commodore SX-64 computers, both faulty for one reason or another, and how they can be disassembled and fixed, and I think it might be interesting for most subscribers here:

Remember to take a quick look at his other clips, as I'm sure you're going to find many that are relevant for your interests!

I've watched his videos quite a bit. Once you start looking around YouTube for information about obscure technologies, contact with his videos is inevitable. He's also done a few videos about the Vectrex.

He actually like games, I've just seen a video of him installing an anti-hum accessory in his two Vectrex units, and there might be some cool stuff hidden below the huge pile of clips he has done so far. I've heard him mentioning a cooperation video that he made with TheEightBitGuy - or whatever the name - but I have yet to find it. (I have a problem with the way in which YouTube presents the channels: they seem to make absolutely no sense to me, random stuff at a random time, no chance to get a decent ordered list, possibly there's something I have yet to figure out).

One of the most interesting I've seen so far, although not strictly an electronic game perhaps, is this video about a game named MB Omni, which was a sort of automatic Trivial Pursuit powered by 8-track tape cartridges. I've never seen it before or even heard it being mentioned, and I'm almost sure it never made it to Italy and possibly to Europe altogether. In any case, he first manage to fix it, and then goes deep understanding and explaining how it works:
