vice 3.4 question

ok so, i downloaded it a while back, never used it for one very big reason: it's way too bright, i can't see half the stuff on screen. any reason for this?
Bedroom coder=rock star
modern coder= pop star
i'd rather be a rock star than a pop start 8)

Funny you mention this. I was just using VICE over the weekend, and I thought that the next frontier of emulation should be a 1702. On my 1702, I can't get cyan without sacrificing purple, and vice-versa. So I was absolutely shocked to see these colors rendered on one screen at the same time in VICE.

But, really, too bright? Don't you have some sort of... control? For brightness?

its not like you cant change the colors.... or adjust brightness :)
