In compute issue 32, there is an advertisement for something called the Cardaptor/1 that allows Atari VCS games to be played on the vic.

was it ever released or is it vaporware? If it was released, can someone post an image?

This one pops up every now and then, even here on Denial:

• ATARI 2600 Modules on any VIC-20? (from 2018),
• Protecto's Atari Game Loader (from 2011), and
• Cardapter - lets atari 2600 carts work with the VIC ? (from 2009).
