Plus4 / C16 CPU replacement chip

Post by MCes »

I'm working at a project of mine: create a reliable substitute for 7501-8501.
The alfa version (experimental board) is working!

Now I have to do some tests....

As a Plus/4 owner*, I'm very happy to see that an alternative for a hard-to-source chip is being developed with success.

Thumbs up!

* mine still works, for the moment...

Very nice! If you can get it fully working, it would be a godsend to all Plus/4 owners who have machines with dead CPU's.
