Are there graphic tools like charpad for the VIC 20?

You need an actual VIC.

Very nice (both versions).

On the Vic color clash isn't really noticeable when he crosses the tree green area - which presumably are different foreground colours.

I guess it very much depends on the design of the graphics how obvious it becomes.

Thanks so much for the nice words guys!

Yeah my reasoning here was (is) since I got very limited spare time and since I got this megalomanic idea to make somekind of a game on several old platforms that I will keep things really simple and maximize the fun. Then the fun I have, might cross over to the game, and in the end (if I really can finish all this) someone else hopefully might have a little bit of fun with it. I've noticed over the years creating some small games on the Lynx, that coding is quite a slow learning process for me so it wouldn't make sense to overcomplicate things at this point, not that 'simulated sprite transparency' necessarily sounds so complicated, but remember the colors! :lol:
