My new Cassiopei arrived Thursday. For years I quit using tapes with my VIC because it was too much hassle. I used VICE for anything tape. The Cassiopei loads TAP files in only a few seconds so my impatient 21st century self can enjoy TAP on real hardware again.
Cooler still, it has a WiFi interface for settings and a file browser. That means new titles can be added over the network without having to use sneakernet. There's also a VIC clock that synchronizes time over WiFi, a PETSCII player, and easy Datasette tape backup.
Anyone else have one of these? Any cool tips or tricks to get the most out of it?

Re: Cassiopei V2
After I moved from the VIC20 to the C128, at some point I got second disk drive (a 1581), and then stopped using tapes.
I put the VIC programs I liked on a single 800k disk.
But after watching this video being streamed to the user port with this Cassiopei device I see there is still plenty to discover.
