Not sure if it was released. Certainly never seen it around my way. Interesting point though... one of those "rumour mill" titles.

There's one on eBay right now - ends 15th May 05. No bids even at £1.50.

I actually got a copy myself in February and completely forgot to mention it in this thread. Not bad actually considering the machine's limitations.

I've already made the TAP of it, so I'll see about putting it up for download tonight.

Here ya go:

http://62.168.142.47/~mayhem/images/acevic20.zip

Joystick to fly, plus:

F1 - decrease thrust
F3 - increase thrust
R/S - pause

Game is pure flying unlike the C64 version and you are only firing rockets. White are normal, blue are heat seeking.

Hey Prof,

Zorgon's Kingdom now that's a title that brings back some fond/forgotten memories of the early years :D Anyone got a copy they could post to download?

Thanks

You can find Zorgon's Kingdom here, but you need unlynx to open it, which I believe only exists for the C64?

ftp://ftp.zimmers.net/pub/vic20/games.basic/8k/

The full link didn't display properly in phpBB, no matter what I tried..

I tried Lynx17 and UltimateLynx3 on X64, but no matter if I turned on true drive emulation or not and created a disk image, the "dissolve" mode only returned a DOS error. Strange, but I've never worked with those programs before.

However, you can always trust cross-platform tools like cbm-convert!

It is even so well written that it detects the device used (tape or disk) and loads following parts from there. Or maybe it as an afterthought by the archiver? Maybe the game was developed on a disk based system but sold on tape media.
