useful applications for a switch in a VIC-20 ?

Hello,
I have a VIC-20 which has reset button and a small switch built into it's case.
Now, since the switch is already there, I would like to give it some usefulness.
What would you guys do with it ?
I thought about a 'cartridge write protector', to make it possible to play uncracked cartrige dumps (games) on a 8k ram expansion?
Another possibility would be a normal-dos/jiffy-dos switch?
Any other suggestions?
