Nevermind. I didn't realize the links were styled to remove their underlines. Time to explore.

Just click on the text for the title you want and the link will take you to the introductory thread where you'll find a download link for the game. I particularly recommend the TenTen games.

Now the "Daddies" of that line up are surely the BBC and the C64, but, the mighty VIC has some very good versions of some of the earlier video games.

For instance:

I think the VIC has the best version of Pac Man, Space Invaders, and Blitz, than any of those.
Would have to say that I think BBC "Snapper" by AcornSoft beats any Vic-20 version of PacMan hands down - even Jelly Monsters. Also there have been some recent additions to PacMan on the C64 that are VERY close to the arcade originals. (Also recent versions of Frogger, Scramble and Donkey Kong)

I'll have to try Snapper on my Beeb later. I have it on the MMC card somewhere, and I now have a nice shiny Joystick adapter for it!
One thing I will say, the BBC version of Jetpac doesn't look or sound nearly as nice as the VIC 20 version. Personally I think the vIC version is actually better than the Spectrum version, which is itself better than the BBC one. It seems to play slower on the Spectrum,

Make sure you play Deathstar (arcade perfect port of Sinistar which you'll find on the MMC menu) and the new version of Centipede which you'll find here:

If you get into cartridge games, I like AE, it's visually pleasing.
