Tandy 1400 Software

I recently brought back a Tandy 1400LT from the dead. It's running MS-DOS 5.0 (installed on four floppies(720K)), and I use a null modem and a serial connector on my PC to transfer software. The software I find only runs about 10% of the time. The problem is that I am running a monochrome screen, with two 720K floppy drives, and no hard drive. Anyone have clue where I can find some software that might work (not games hopefully).
I know this forum is for pre-90's and Basic, but this machine came out in 1987 and I have Qbasic.exe running on it.
Any suggestions?

You should peruse the vast abandonware library in the internet. Most older games and applications you may find there were written for such low-power, diskless devices. This is an example concerning productivity software.

I don't have much to contribute in terms of software recommendations but you could do a lot worse than watch the Computer Chronicles. There are hundreds of episodes available on the Internet Archive and YouTube and they cover lots of obscure hardware and software. Here are a few episodes on laptops and portable computers from the mid/late 80s:

That is an 8080 machine, so there should be plenty of old IBM XT software out there. Maybe some language compilers,or such.
