27HC641 EPROM,if specifically programmed, are pin compatible with 2364 ROM.

This Eprom can replace the old Commodore 8K ROM in VIC20, C64, SX64, 1541, many game cartridges,ecc....
A lot of Commodore computers, drivers, cartridges use the 2364 ROM!

EPROM 27HC641 don't need a particular voltages for programming, so it's normally supported by programmers.

The only differences between 2364 and 27HC641 are 3 address pins swapped, consequently it have to be programmed through a converter-socket (into pic) OR it has to be programmed with a manipulated ".BIN" file that exchange the address pins.

I can program it (correctly) for you, or manipulete and resend yours .BIN file.

If you are interested I can program the ROM with the image that you supply to me but remember that I make only the programming service: you remain the only responsable for eventual software copyright/royalty/licence/ecc...

Some ideas about 8K ROM implementations: http://sleepingelephant.com/ipw-web/bul ... =11&t=8434

Price (without PPfees and sending):
5€/pcs unprogrammed,
20€x 5pcs unprogrammed

6€/pcs programmed,
25€x 5pcs programmed

Hi. I'm new here. Are these still available? I'm doing some repairs and, for lack of a more genuine option (read: original ROM chips), I think these are my best option.
