A number of computing books from the 1980's have been made available by the publisher

They're generic books but some do cover the VIC 20.

On internet explorer 11 SmartScreen will not let you save some of the books because it says it has "malicious content". Can I call this feature "DumbScreen"?
So I tried on my older XP machine that has explorer 8 and the save button doesn't even appear...
Added edit:
Got them all now! Switched off DumdScreen...

I never heard of these books before but I think they're amazing, looking at the content.

I remember those covers from library. Weird flashbacks from childhood.

I was not aware of these books until just now, but I have taken a look at them and they look awesome. I am having a little trouble understanding the machine language book, but i think I will be able to understand it once I learn more about memory on the VIC-20.
Also I believe it is in "Practical Uses for a Microcomputer", there is a page where they are telling you how to print flyers and banners and other things like that and an example is a sign or flyer that says "VIC-20 Home Computer Users Group" or something like that.

The Island of Secrets (40 columns, 22 columns, version with static graphic screens)
The Mystery of Silver Mountain (40 col version)
The Dungeon of Doom (RPG creator)

I grew up with several of these books! Totally loved them, excellent introduction to programming which is now my career.
I still have the originals in my collection.
