Nintendo DS and Sony PSP

Post by Jeff-20 »

I just saw the new Gameboy and Playstation portables. Wow.

I am worried that they are going to ruin the portable market like the home market with too many systems too quickly. I just got a GBA SP. I hate to see it become outdated.

Google for pics, they are both quite impressive.

I must admit that the psp looks pretty good. I have seen some stuff on it from the E3 convention, and boy the graphics are stunning.

My daughter has the GBA (non sp) but lately I have hijacked it, after buying FIFA 2004. what a game! I get to play in many leagues, and you can also watch highlights from other games, that you were not even part of!

I don't feel confidant in the durability of a moving CD unit inside a portable system!

Never heard of Walkman CD and clones? You're even supposed to be able to run with those and having a 40 second anti-shock memory.

The only thing I would hate about those little PSP cd's, is the load time. One thing I love about cartridges, is they are so darn fast.

But man, the PSP display is so large! Very slick looking.

But Nintendo Gamecube loads quite fast and it uses those small disc medias.

I guess PSP uses somekind of small DVD like disc.. It can be quite fast..

CD & DVD loads faster when its close its centerhole.. :)

I like screen and black color.. Wonder how games look..

I had no idea those discs loaded quickly.

I guess I am going by PS1 load times :)

I was shocked however, when nintendo went disc with the game cube. i thought they would have continued down the cartridge way
