I found it a bit hard to get any usable information from the last poll so here is another one...

What.... I just checked all of the options except for no expansion and all options I checked got 17%. How on earth??? I expected them to get 100% each, not 17%

The percents are of the entire voted total across all options. So starting from scratch, if three people ticked +3, +8 and +16 each, and then I ticked +32, then +3, +8 and +16 would be 30% each, and +32 would be 10% (as there are ten votes in total - 3 for 3k, 3 for 8k, 3 for 16k and 1 for 32k).

Huh, you will never get any usable numbers with these polls then except for if you make one separate poll for each alternative. Right now there seems to have been 6 people voting. One of them checked "no expansion". And that would mean 1/6 == 17% and not 3% as it says now.

The poll should have been "What's the highest memory expansion you have?". Then you'd get some proper figures in breakdown. Which is what Beamrider has done.

But the problem with that is that you can't tell if you can run a +3K program or not. If you check 16K you might very well have a 3K cart as well - or not.

So maybe a poll should be: Check the highest number you can combine with your ram carts: 0, 3, 8, 11, 16, 19, 24, 27, 32, 35.

Why not forget the polls and just ask everyone what expansions they have?

I have a Mega-Cart (that means I can run anything up to 32+3k). I also have a stand alone 32k expansion that probably originated from Eslapion (although I didn't buy it from him) as well as a couple of 16k expansions.
