SD2IEC question?

Is it okay to remove or insert the SD card while the Vic-20 is running? Until now, I've always turned the Vic-20 off to do that.

I do it and it's never been a problem. In principle, it's no different to removing a floppy disk while the computer is still on.

are we sure the sd2iec firmware flushes all the buffers and leaves the filesystem in a consistent state every time the led goes off?

I can confirm that it does. It also rests the internal state when a new card is inserted.

Feel free to eject/insert SD cards with sd2iec-based devices with abandon.
