Yeah, I imagine a few of the screenshots are still messed up after the debacle on my laptop between my working area and Windows 7 using its virtual storage (which is now switched off). I plan to redo ALL the screenshots afresh for v0.4, and maybe change the naming convention as well (to be like GB64).

I'll check it out. It must have worked at some point as that's usually how I fired up games to take the screenshots. Unless I didn't retake that one.

In other news, Underground Gamer has been pulled in the last 24 hours it seems (return unknown currently), so maybe just as well I hadn't released the latest GB20 in that time. Lots of people would have issues getting hold of it. I'll have a think where a torrent of the archive can now go up...

Cheers :)

I imagine there's a fair few other RUN Magazine games in there uncredited.

My tape copy of this game keeps crashing after a few minutes play. Maybe there are a lot of Doodle Bugs with these problems.

More testers?

Post by Macguyver »

Mayhem, let me know if you want more people testing V3.

I'm currently in the middle of a major project which includes Gamebase Vic20 running on a Gameex frontend and utilizing a wireless Xbox 360 controller.

Vicman did some pretty good testing. I need to rebundle what I currently have to produce a new package, and make that available, based on his findings. I can perhaps then send it your way for a quick check before I make it public.

Hopefully Robert will be alright hosting it again, as now that Underground Gamer is offline, it really just leaves his hosting and maybe PirateBay to torrent the thing...
