[finished] Tetwels

Postby pallas » Thu Mar 07, 2013 5:00 am

Hello!

I made another simple game; as you would have already guessed, it's a mix of Tetris and Jewels (or columns or whatever).
It's all basic and petscii for the unexpanded vic.

This time I'd like some advices on gameplay: is it too easy, too hard, boring? Thanks!

Just for fun, I made an austro-compiled version: it's about twice as fast but the file is much bigger (requires 8k expansion)

Another great little puzzler. Well done.

Maybe a bit more info at game over, such as a reminder on how to have another go. Either back to the intro screen with any key press or reprint the F1/F3 start options. I'm getting a bit forgetful so after playing the game it took me a little while to remember how to re-start it.

Nice effort.

Thanks for the advice.
Sometimes I tend to be a bit too minimalistic, especially when doing 1.5K progs hehe! ;)

Thanks! What score? Easy or hard?
So I'm not the only one who doesn't sleep at night ;-)

Another nice release Pallas, I tried the compiled version only and it plays really well - look forward to your future endeavours :)

I made it to 87 (I think, it was definitely a number in the 80s), but most of my scores hover between 40-60. I keep hoping that the horizontal colors will match and disappear :D

Tonight I'm not so good... I only made it to the high 20s because of that horizontal strategy confusion.
