Denial

I'm pleased to report the resurrection of my second VIC 20...
A short board cost reduction model which has been dead for some time.
I finally got round to creating a 28 to 24 pin adapter (constructed on verro strip board) ...and the successful programming of the Pal Kernal data into an AM27C256 eprom ..
Flew up the kites into the storm ...connected the wires to the bolts in VIC's neck ...and waited for a chance bolt of lightning ..
..Followed by cries of 'Its Alive !!!)

Seriously tho' ...lots of luvverly room in the AM27C256 so I have the option of extra Kernal variants (NTSC etc) or including the CHAR rom or BASIC rom ....as well..
I just need to include some adress switching for that ..

I'm slowly working through and repairing my old CBM gear ...and thoroughly enjoying it

Have you got a picture to share with the group?

I have done a few double socket adapters for Vic-20 rom replacement with an eprom, but have never done one with a board yet.

No probs ...
Its nothing fancy ...so I hope you aint disappointed ..
