Found an incredibly cool VIC expansion cart

Look at the size of this thing! I especially like the rotary dials. Untested.

This cart was included with it, is there a ROM image out there?

What does the cartridge do? Like the dials for choosing memory banks.

Wow, 8 port expander with what looks like reassignable memory?

Also I noticed a pause button, is this the grail of the Vic-20? I thought it was not possible to pause the Vic.

Let us know when you have tested it and post some more details of the circuit diagram. I am sure Brain would be interested.

A but garbled OCR but here is what is does. Frame pause on the Vic20 and cart copy functions plus up to 1035k expansion.

Here's a picture of the advertisement directly from a scan of the magazine. As I thought it says "up to 35K" not "1035K", probably due to sloppy OCR...

Schema,

can you derive how the pause circuit works?

That would be a fun project.

Thanks.
