Has noone ported Gradius to the Vic? I just found out that the ship in Gradius is called the "Vic Viper", so it's kinda fitting :)

As stupid as it may sound, why not?
Look at the MSX versions. They're perfectly playable, even though they don't have hardware scroll, and only Vic Viper and its weapons are made using sprites. All enemies are characters and move at character intervals.
