I remember making KARATE CHAMP clones back in the mid 1980s using PETSCII graphics. I thought I was the only one who made these types of games for the VIC-20.

I've got to download these games when I have the time, thank you for typing these in

As before... any credits for Cooky and Wostok?

And I can't get Wostok or Fight Night to work properly after transferring the PRG files to disk. Wostok fills the screen with black repeatedly until game over, and Fight Night seems to mis-load the second part of the game and merges it weird.

Just tried both on my VIC and uIEC. Worked fine. Please note that Wostok automatically loads from drive 8 (see line 5 of wostok2.prg) and for Fight Night you have to manually load the second part, since there was no memory left for auto-loading it.

Yeah... I don't think I've got the third part of Wostok loading correctly, what should the file name be called? WOSTOK3? WOSTOK3.PRG? WOSTOK3.DAT? I've tried all of those without success. Note that I'm running it as a D64.

As for Fight Night, I'll make it a TAP then instead.

The third file should be called wostok3.dat - but it has to be as SEQ-file. You can just use wostok-gen.prg to generate that file on disc, though.

Also I killed the REM-statement out of FightNight to make it able to load from disk. Please give it another try. I replaced the .zip-file.

The VDrive in VICE and SD2IEC ignore the filetype (PRG, SEQ, USR) for hosted directories, but not within a disk image.

Cheers... yes, lack of knowledge that it had to be a SEQ file vital there ;)

Wow, that's a pretty shameless rip-off of BC's Quest For Tires:
