The infamous Dr. Beep! Alas, we meet. I've admired your prolific game making for years now. :D

Good initiative...
For some reason the background color is very dark green in Firefox, it's yellow in IE.

Yes, I heard the same when the color was more pink/purple.
I think I will make a comment about it.

Not so hard when you have a laptop with you 3 days per week on a 2 hour singletrip by train (giving me 12 hours of coding each week).

Or better, change the line
<body BGCOLOR=rgb(250,225,0)>
into
<body BGCOLOR="#FAE100">

All RGB now replaced with #-numbers. Not much different than the RGB command, only hexnumbers.

Nice, it's readable now in firefox. I will probably make a Vic-20 game for the competition, don't know how big it will be yet.

Enjoy!

REALM OF OMARI
==============
Minigame Compo 2010 / 1K Series
http://minigamecompo2010.00freehost.com/

Platform: VIC 20 (PAL)
Recommended emulator: http://viceteam.org (VICE xvic)
Gameplay video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbPQdNJCexs

Find your way through the Realm of Omari and restore the ankhs that once belonged to him.

Joystick to move in all directions. Collect gold for points. Crush bats with rocks or lure them to the flooding water to get more gold.

Find the ankhs which are hidden somewhere below the third level. Ankhs reward 1000 points + an extra life + you get magically teleported to the next cave.

Awesome.
Another gem from AEeben!
I look forward to playing it!

Glad to see you haven't abandoned the VIC-20. Your website seems scrubbed of games...
