btw it seems in perfect condition, Serial NO 109117 ??? how many Vic-1001 was produced ? maybe serial numbers started from 100000 and it is the unit 9117 ?orion70 wrote:€799,00 are too much for me.

Well, for that matter my two-prong PAL VIC-20 is S/N 006xxx if I recall correctly. On the other hand I am a strong believer of the theory that each factory had their own set of serial numbers, as well as PAL and NTSC are individually numbered. It is possible that everytime they changed the board layout, the serial numbering was reset.
