Proposal for a 'Emulators & Cross-Developing' section
Hi, all,
this is a section which is missing IMO.
The Programming, and Games section should focus on the development, and discussion of programs, and games that actually run on the VIC-20 (whether real, or emulated).
While the topics of the proposed section could be handled well under the General topics section, I see that's not often the case. Currently postings regarding the usage of VICE, cc65, transfer of data etc. are strewn across the General topics, Programming, and Games section. This new section could alleviate this problem, and give a good starting point for newcomers.
Greetings,
Michael

This makes sense. Most other forums have a special section for emulator-related issues. VICE can be quite complicated for newcomers -- see www.worldofspectrum.org for a perfect example of user-friendliness.
Yes I Agree,
Btw I think is better just an Emulator section while for cc65, DASM and other similar tools, they may remain in the programming section or a relative subsection.

Poll result
I had set the poll to run for 30 days - in the meantime it went to the second page of the General section.
Anyhow, 10:0 votes should speak for itself.
And this post is just another perfect example for the necessity of the section.
So, Jeff, please ...
