Just an update!

Since announcing the end of the production for the Behr Bonz, only two units of the EPROM were sold.

Since the schematics is quite simple, I admit I expected to sell a few more.

I think everyone was waiting for another batch to be made, which has not happend.

I know someone who can make these, and know of another 6 people who would like one, but apparently the EPROMS are now being limited?

Is it worth buying a Behr Bonz if you already own a Mega Cart? What does it offer that the MC doesn't?

From a practicality standpoint, probably not. From a I must have all the VIC goodies I can get, it sure is!

It's probably worth getting one of eslapion's Ultimate Expanders too. Imagine a RAM expander with some additional built-in cartridges that you would have killed for in the 80's, that's the UE. Check out this review. They're quite affordable too:

- Base with 32k RAM and read-only switch -> 30$
- 8k size ROM option -> 5$ extra
- 2 x 4k size ROM options (in the same 8k region) -> 7$ extra
(Taken from eslapion's last price list posted at Lemon which you can find here.)

Not bad, eh? I wonder what a similar device would have cost back in 81-82. Probably a lot more than a VIC-20.

If the demand is as high as you say, perhaps it is now time to get another batch done.

As for EPROMs being limited, there is no limit on the number of EPROMs you can order from me.

@GKlinger: Thanks for mentioning the Ultimate Expander
