I found some software and since I have 1541U I decided to share it

The first one's just a simple tool of my father's, the name explains it all

A worm-game by some guy named Pasi Kaukinen. Awful music!

This is Katko, a card game made by Jyrki JJ Kasvi, nowadays a member of the Finnish Parliament. Has homepage in klingon..
I never quite understood the point of the game. This has probably been published in Mikrobitti and might be available somewhere
EDIT: I found it simply by googling katko.prg. It has been published in Prosessori 12/82

"Romuralli 2" (Demolition Derby)
A game originally by JJJ Kasvi, modified by my father. I think it's quite nice even though it's a little buggy - it requires skill in the end when you have to make a quick turn when you hit a wrecked car. Also features an annoying "scrolling screen" effect that my cousin wanted after reading about Garden Wars having a scrolling screen.

Finally, the software my father used when he made booze. International Moonshine Deluxe 5.6! Too bad you don't have a still like that.. A funny program and indeed made good moonshine, 95 %vol max. Maybe it should be demonstrated at Boozembly or at least I should post a pic of the still
Here they were, I don't know if they're of any interest to anybody but I'm happy to use my 1541U. Sorry they're in Rapidshare.

Re: Found some software
Ah, hints of car combat on the VIC, I'm intrigued! I figured out it needs the 3K expansion, but I couldn't figure out how to move the car... I feel like such a n00b I was using VICE and didn't have any luck with joystick settings or randomly hitting keys on the keyboard.Iltanen wrote:"Romuralli 2" (Demolition Derby)

Right for you will be whatever key is two right of L on your keyboard.
Thanks for the controls, that did it. P L ' . are the 4 keys in VICE with my setup.
Thanks for making these available, Iltanen.

The Romuralli game has some little secrets to it... one is supposed to play it with the Shift Lock key pressed down. Then the opponent will move slower.. if the playing field gets too full of cars you can then depress (I don't know if that's a word but it sounds like one) the shift lock and let the opponent clear the field. The funny controls have been copied from Garden Wars I think.
It's possible to score billions in that game since collecting oil makes the score increase exponentially.
It has those strange things because my father wanted to be sure to beat my cousin. I hope you like the "scrolling screen" : D
