Vic Productivity Software

Post by dragos »

I decided to post some pics of some productivity software I acquired a few years ago, in what can only be described as "well kept"

This guy sent a notebook with every receipt and note he had ever had. Very interesting stuff.

I also got some "tape magazines" called Fox-20. They are essentially a 1 or 2 page paper with a tape containing programs for the Vic. I will get to those in another post. (anyone with an easy way to make tape images, let me know, though I have to stress EASY)

OK, back to the software:

The first two are official Commodore releases:

These are disk only, 16mb expansion required programs!

Here are the contents:

And finally Wordcraft 20 from UMI(I kept typing warcraft for some reason)

D64s of the disk software will be made available, and if its not already dumped, I will dump the cart. I suspect Mayhem probably has it already ;)

Please post any more info you might have on these titles!

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for those pictures. I have not seen hi-res pictures of those boxes before, so your posting is appreciated. Yes, disk images would be nice.

I have Wordcraft on cartridge, but I think mine is distributed by Audiogenic or something like that. The label is similar, but a little smaller, and the plastic case is a mustard colour.

This is really neat stuff!

I think Wordcraft rom dump is already on Zimmer's site.

However, it would be worthwhile to see if dumps are same.

As GB20 is games only, then these are not in the database naturally ;)

I do actually own a full and complete Wordcraft20 though, the same UMI issue as above. Are you missing the manual though?

Audiogenic did release a lot of UMI stuff in the UK (along with a few other US companies), so it's likely.

Well, it was not in the box, but I did find it in the binder!

I will try to get a scan done soon and post.

Anyone have wordcraft 80 for the pet?[/b]
