Richard E. of the HCC Commodore in the Netherlands has it in his VIC-20. He gladly let me play around with his machine at the Netherlands Commodore Show back in June.

carlsson wrote:Sure. Honestly, at least three or four people should be credited for EasyLoad: Pasi Ojala who wrote the actual speed loader, me who converted the routines to work standalone, Nicola who developed a user interface around it. I think even part of the 1581 code once was written by Marko Mäkelä.
Noted! Due credits acknowledged!
On the C64, the utility cartridges have their own speed loaders. I never felt the need of JiffyDOS or any other parallel based speeder as I find the turbo in Action Replay 6 fast enough.
JiffyDOS is not parallel based and it is considerably slower than AR6.

However, its level of compatibility on the 64 is much greater than any version of AR, Super Snapshot, Final Cartridge or any other accelerator cart.
Perhaps it is mostly a matter of "I want" rather than "I need" that makes people stand in line to get access to JiffyDOS?
In make case, I must say its "I much prefer" because I have pretty much everything else.

Well, its done.

I FINALLY have (Maurice)DOS for PAL VIC-20s.

Anybody wants it?

I'll be sure to post the binary data on some public place so anyone who has the technical know how can make their own if they want to.

If you want me to make one for you, the price is the same as for the NTSC VIC-20 version, 15$ per unit.

Well, that post seems awfully similar to one I saw in another thread...

I sounds just as stupid to me...
