JiffyDOS is not parallel based and it is considerably slower than AR6.On the C64, the utility cartridges have their own speed loaders. I never felt the need of JiffyDOS or any other parallel based speeder as I find the turbo in Action Replay 6 fast enough.
In make case, I must say its "I much prefer" because I have pretty much everything else.Perhaps it is mostly a matter of "I want" rather than "I need" that makes people stand in line to get access to JiffyDOS?
