Go on a crime spree! You and your partners are serial bank robbers. Your mission is to get as much money as possible and get it back to your secret hideout. Stealth, puzzle solving and quick reflexes are all needed.

This is the game I made Thursday. I had to finish the graphics and upload it today. It may seem a little rushed, but the basic idea is there. This is the idea with ethical issues. Let's just call this one the censored version. The game is filled with a lot of cliches. I was mostly experimenting with the idea of a narrative.

By the way, it is hard as heck to play on an emulator with the keyboard. This really requires a joystick to be enjoyed.

Yes! Another awesome game, thanks Jeff!
I can't believe it fits in 3.5k!

Like you say, rock hard on emulator. It took me about 15 tries to get away. The hardest part was shooting the guard - not because of the controversy, but because the timing was so tricky.

Thanks! I think there is a delay on my emulator, because I couldn't get past the guard. Impossible! On a real VIC the difficulty level is pretty easy.

That's an elaborate one and harder than heck. I just made it to the end with a haul of $250 (and they say crime doesn't pay!) Time to rob the next bank!

P.S. Did I steal that getaway car? I was trying to keep track of my felonies. Bank robbery and murder were clear but grand theft auto, I'm not sure.
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.

There was actually a little game sequence for the getaway car scene, but I cut it.

I promise this game is not as difficult on real hardware. The emulator makes it about 300% harder and 200% less fun.

1. Solve it normally.
2. Watch what happens to the final dial.
3. Compensate.

Yeah I'd already been trying that with no success :?
So say the numbers shown are 1 3 4, so I enter that initially. Then the last dial changes to 3. So I've tried entering 4 1 3, 0 2 3, 2 4 5 or 6 0 1 (taking 3 from each number), or 4 6 7 (adding three to each number), but it doesn't open

If it's 134, enter 134.
If the last digit winds back one, to correct enter 135 and it will wind back the last digit to 4.

The last digit is affected by the first digit in the combination.
I finally beat it on emulator (2 banks, $680, broke my leg). Way too hard without a joystick.

Well the hardest part for me is the first screen, I always seem to pick the wrong ladder on each level!

But I have robbed a few banks successfully now... proof that you can do it on emulator. In fact I've successfully shot the guard every time I've reached that screen...

Nice game with many elements. Just a logic question:

The money I stash away at my hideout, should it be lost if I get caught on a second raid? Bank robbers tend to hide the old loot and dig it out when they get released 10 years later.

I guess your partners take it while you are locked up... for life (as Golan points out, the number of crimes should total far more than 10 years).

I'm thinking of fixing this up for the minigame comp (if they are still going strong).
