Got some games for the VIC today.

Post by Zeela »

Got a box full of tapes and carts today.

Now I'm wondering if there's any goodies in the lot? I've heard that the two games from Tial Trading is a bit hard to come by. Is any of the other games uncommon? Are all archived?

I might be willing to part with some of the games if there's a good offer... But the Minter-games stays here!

Nice stuff... looking through it, I may need the following for GB20 (have to confirm against the master database):

Siege
Flipper
Zipper

What's the game in the top right corner of the first picture? And what's on the Gamepac1 and Gamepac2?

And I might be interested in buying the Handic Star Battle...

The one in the top right cornder is "Glosförhör" by Grana Software. A direct swedish->english translation would be "vocabulary quiz". A program that helps out with your home work.

The games on
Gamepac1: (according to the inlay)
Formula 1
Rymdskytte (Spaceshooting or Spacewar)
Robotattack

Gamepack2:
Ormen (Snake)
Skattjakten (treasurehunt)
Rally

Flipper is most certainly a rebadged version of Pinball Wizard by .. Microdeal?

Siege is probably by Mike Singleton, whichever company published these originally.

I've got two Pinball Wizard games listed, one by Terminal, the other unattributed. Still a TAP/PRG of Flipper would be nice just to compare. And I definitely need Seige and Zipper.

Rest assured that digital versions of all of these would be appreciated as I suspect I may need most of them (plus scans of the inlays).

Sounds like I need to dig out my scanner then...

I'll try to dump the tapegames. I haven't dumped VIC-games before, just C64-games. How do I dump a VIC game? Can I use the C64 and MTap/PTap?

It might work... I use MTAP on the PC and it has a flag for C64 or Vic20 games you see.

If you need help dumping, I can dump it all with a DC2N.
Works like a charm.

And if you want to sell some of those tape games, I'll buy... :-)

Well, most of it is up for sale if the offer is good enough :)

But I'll be keeping at least the Scandsoft tapes and the Minter games.

Yes, a C64 plus TAPSERV and mtap on the PC side works like a charm. That's how I did all my VIC tapes just the other day. Just make sure to specify the appropriate -vicntsc or -vicpal option to mtap.

Wonder how much shipping would cost for a couple of carts to the states (Tennessee, zip code 37086)?

I've been wanting HES MON forever and the VIC ML Monitor cart interests me too.

Shipping 2 or 3 carts to USA would cost 91 SEK approx. $15 using todays exchange rates.

Mayhem grabbed Star Battle.

Make me an offer for the carts you're interested in.
