What Vic-20 programs require 32k ram?

Does anyone know what programs exist that require a 32k memory expansion?

...but it's always been a mistery to me how to make it work. I've tried several combinations of super expander and RAM expansion (with VICE), but never managed to see it working beyond the intro screen.

Anyone can help?

If I ever get Contiki 1.X to compile as I wish, it'll require 32K RAM. Generally a 32K memory is useful because you can map memory into any block(s) as you need, unlike e.g. a fully switchable 16K expansion where you still only have 2*8K to use.

Contiki huh? I've read about it. Really Amasing stuff!

If you can get the web browser to work on the Vic, what else will be requiered to be able to log on to the modern internet?

Well, I suppose some networking hardware. I haven't studied the details, but I seem to remember that Contiki on the C64 supports a few different Ethernet chips/interfaces using different drivers. The non-linear memory layout on the VIC makes cc65 more difficult to use, at least for me who are not so familiar with the compiler. My idea was to compile various drivers into the BLK5 $A000 cartridge space and have the main operating system in regular expansion RAM. I'm unsure if even that solution would be enough for actual usage.

It was hard for me to always select the game I wanted to attach to the emulator, and if it was 16k ... generic 6000-000 ...
I had enough.

Easy to load. Select and start.

I think they're going on a real 32K machine too.

All game detect video system and autoconfig center.

I don't know if it can be useful, but both Two Days to the Race and The Queen's Footsteps require a 32K expansion (block 1,2,3,5).
