I guess the next question is it a male or female capacitor?

Male=he'd be Tea-bagging the chip
Female=she'd be octo-pussing the chip
I don't know but they seem to be making lots of babies and having a very large family! :lol:
Eslapion...nice job man!
Thanks!

Yeah, I'd just like to chime in here, too. I received my Bher-Bonz a couple of days ago and ... wow, I'm impressed. It's a great looking piece of hardware - I'm sure that a lot of thought / effort went into putting it together and ... man, it's great to have access to so many games on original hardware. I'd never be able to amass anything close to what is available on the BB in original carts ...

It's great that this place is back up - thanks to everybody who helped bring it back. Even though I've only been around a month or so, I've found the information here invaluable.

Joystick navigation sounds cool! If the user had a way to reset remotely, I would be thrilled. I suppose the power switch is only three or four feet away from the joystick, but a reset button would be fun. Am I getting too spoiled?

Not just reset... reset remotely too... :?

If you have an amplifier with a remote control nearby, you could connect the PSU of your VIC to the switched outlet...

Other than that... I dunno.

I am still looking for a volunteer to help me make a PAL version of the ROM.

The reward: a free Behr Bonz cart

PAL version would be nice 8)

I did almost already order NTSC version, but maybe its better wait till PAL version comes out. Is there many games that wont work ok at PAL Vic? Most games I have you can change screen position with cursorkeys.
So they work at PAL and NTSC Vic.

A much better option is wait for MegaCart. :twisted:

It has NTSC to PAL conversion done for almost all of the over 270 games & utiltites.

It has also been tested on real PAL hardware for several months now.

Why limit youself to only 127 games when you can have freedom of every memory expansion option possible, all known cart games + utiliites + custom music?

I confess, I ordered one of these from Eslapion. I'm still waiting for it to arrive in the mail, which should be any day now. I mean, come on...the guy does deliver what people want in the Commodore community; can't fault him for that! Plus, he's earned my respect as a reputable businessman. He delivers on his promises, which I think warrants some credit.

Not that I think it's a suitable replacement for the MegaCart. For some, maybe it is. For me, it will tie me over until Xmas 2008, when I expect to see a Megacart to me from me under the tree.

Of course, I hope that Brian can get as much inspiration from Behr Bonz as much as Behr Bonz has been inspired by Megacart.

:wink:
