A new batch of 28-24 pin adapter boards?
Hi there,
Recently I was contacted by 2 different people who indicated they would be interested in buying some more 28-24 pin adapters to allow the use of standard 2764-27128-27256 (E)PROM chips in the sockets of VIC/64/1541 commodore equipment.
Since I myself would also need a good number of these then this means I am just about ready to get a new batch made.
Anybody else want some of these? Now is the time to say it cuz the larger the order, the lower the cost per unit.
Thank you all!
=====================================
Added edit:
Last year, we were 6 people in all to combine together an order of 150 of them and the final cost was 2.10$ US per unit.
Shipping is:
6$ to Canada
7$ to the US
9$ to europe
So the more you order, the lower the final cost per unit.

Suggested pin headers:
http://www.digikey.com and search for 350-10-164-00-006000
64 pins you can breakaway, 2 of these will do 5 boards (each boards require 24 pins)
OR
A much cheaper equivalent of the digikey pin header can be found here:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/single-row-round-100 ... dZViewItem
You can always use the excess female connectors for DIP sockets replacements.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE!
Next tuesday, I will compile the quantities requested by everyone and I will send a PM to everyone who indicated their interest in the adapters.
Once the quantities are confirmed, I will place the order with the manufacturer.
Since the manufacturer charges a tooling fee of 55$, any and all requests placed after tuesday WILL BE REJECTED.
Also, any and all confirmations received after tuesday WILL BE REJECTED.
In other words, I MUST order all boards at the same time otherwise, it costs 55$ extra and I don't want to pay that because somebody is late.
