Oh my God. Is it the flash, or is the upper half of that VIC really that white? The lower half of the case seems more tainted.

These pictures seem to be of two different VICs. How many are you selling?

Nice Vic1541...does the red light work on the front?

Some used car salesman sold me one with the red light not working from this forum (I'll get years of jabbing him for this so it's well worth it)

Hey Centallica,

It's super easy to replace the LEDs on these drives, since they are bog standard RED LEDs. You should try it.

I know it's super easy but then I can't harass the guy :P

It's on my list of things to do,

ahh, sorry. :) yes, Rochester NY usa...

- i can look closer, but i do think the Vic is actually that white (not sure why it'd be whiter than the bottom half though). you'll notice it's missing two keys, i had swapped the board out to a C64 a while back (could swap back if really needed). this Vic didn't have the original 'block-letter' keyboard like the other does.

- there's two of them, one boxed and one loose. i have two manuals and a programmer's guide (not pictured, nice shape). psu and rf cables for both (the loose one might not have the other cable that goes from the little rf box to the tv). all in very nice condition, tested and works fine (didn't test for sound, but i think they're both good).

- the Vic1541 works perfectly, i've actually been using it as my main drive for a couple weeks now with a C64.

thanks!

also, here's my feedback on ebay:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... TRK:ME:UFS

Vics seem like a waste of time on there, and it's not possible to trade really.
