Some cartridges & slot expander for trade

Post by ral-clan »

I just got a bunch of cartridges in an Ebay buy. I purchased the lot for because it contained a Cardco ribbon-cable 6-slot expander. I already have most of the cartridges, so the following doubles are up for trade:

- VIC Music Composer (boxed, complete)
- Adventure Land
- Centipede
- Voodo Castle
- Lunar Leeper
- Demon Attack
- Pirate's Cove
- Super Smash
- Video Vermin
- Galaxian
- Outworld
- Spiders of Mars
- Clowns
- Choplifter
- Threshold
- Canonball Blitz

Since the Cardco 6-slot expander I got has a cable, I won't be needing my Data-20 four slot expander (no cable - very simple design - no switches). So it's up for trade too.

These were all purchased in North America, so in some cases they might be NTSC only.

What sort of stuff are you looking for in trade; Vic 20 stuff specifically, Commodore stuff in general, or computer stuff in general?

Well,

VIC-20 stuff (books, hardware, magazines), Amiga stuff....

I suppose I could use a C64....I have a power supply but no actual computer....

Atari cartridges (7800, 2600), Intellivision, Vectrex, ColecoVision.

PS: I am located in Eastern Ontario, Canada.

Damn, I'd really like to get ahold of some of those...like everything except for the music composer, plus a C2N...wish I could give up something in trade. Just how far east are you, anyway? I'm in Oshawa, and will see what there is at the flea market; hopefully I'll come up with something you're interested in.

Hey Ral-Clan!

You have Spiders of Mars in there!! We're missing that !!! (in NTSC...)

Could you please care to back it up before you sell it?

see: http://sleepingelephant.com/v-web/bulle ... php?t=1567

Also, if you have any defective cartridge, I would like to have them.

No problem, Eslapion. I will back up Spiders of Mars. I actually have my own copy, besides this one I am offering. So I will have one to back up for sure.

I should probabl let you know all the cartridges I have (I have a lot). Maybe I have some others you need.

Note: the two Sierra On-Line cartridges that had no labels are Cannonball Blitz and Threshold.

I have Spiders of Mars too! I didn't realize it was that rare in NTSC-land. eslapion, I missed your earlier thread about it.

What's the best method to dump a cartridge again?

It's not that rare, there just doesn't seem to be an NTSC dump of it. Which prompts the question, where do these PAL dumps come from? I didn't even think the Audiogenic releases of the UMI games in the UK had been optimised. So in my mind they should only exist in NTSC to begin with.
