Anyone have a spare Miner 2049'er cartridge for the VIC-20 to sell? Please drop me a note if so.

The only one I've seen recently was in a group with some other rare Atari cartridges, etc. I didn't really want to pay $80 - $100 for it so I passed on that auction.

Did you know of another?

$100 was a good deal for the whole lot. Miner sells for $50+ by itself. Sorry but thats the only one I knew of currently. Good luck in your search.

I think Mikam73 was looking for two-three years on this forum and eBay before he could find a copy of Miner 2049'er?

Probably. I have seen two on eBay so far. Both auctions it was in a big lot of other stuff so I didn't bid.

It was always one of my favorite games. I have it for the C64 and Coleco Vision, wouldn't mind it for the VIC as well. :)

naaa, unfortunately it would be in a shoe box size case and take 12 AA batteries to power it. Did I mention the batteries only last 2 games or level 2, whichever comes first? Its those darn vacuum tubes eslapion uses that are behind all this. Hope this isnt a problem? ;) :D

Very funny. :)

To be more precise, I was asking if he is able to put it in a normal VIC cartridge case, or is it just the board unprotected...

hmmm... a VIC 20 with vacuum tubes... like an old stereo receiver... sounds like a fun project. Nice, warm analog computations, games with a bit of wow and flutter.

In the end I found a copy from a contact in the US and bought it to pass along to him! That's after beating him to a copy on eBay for starters.

Woah! I have a copy of this for the VIC. I had no idea it went for so much. Is that the most expensive VIC cartridge out there?

I think I'll start a thread about this question.
