1020s are very cool, I've been looking for one too. There's a guy in Toronto with one, he won't sell it though! Although 1020s do have the disadvantage that there's no way to easily activate/deactivate cartridges once the cover is closed.


As for the 3D thing - I'm on the design team for the "Instant Scene Modeler" at work - we can "instantly" (in about 5 minutes) create a detailed VRML model of any area.

I don't have any special 3D-camera. If the object isn't moving, then there is no need to... You just take a normal camera, take one picture with one eye, move the camera to the other eye, point it at exactly the same point and take a second picture. I've done this with an old analog camera before and cut together pictures with glue. Now that I have a digital camera, it's so much easier. That's how far my sience goes on the subject. :wink:

And it doesn't need to bee 100% accurate, because your brain will adjust if the difference isn't too big...

There is one slot at the back though...
