I agree w/ you on the simple gameplay. I would probably be bored w/ High Speed pretty quick if I owned it. BK2K keeps me entertained because there's a lot going on and it's a little more of a challenge. I just have a soft spot for those 2 pins. If $$ were no object I'd probably grab a Medeval Madness also. :)

Added a C64C and 1541II to my collection today as well as other goodies I got through a freecycle posting. I'm reaching the limits of what I can store in that room.

Ya, Defender was/is a very hard game
Eugene Jarvis is like the Jeff Minter for Williams games (some very different game concepts that prove to be very successful from the streamline of everything else produced of the era) 8)
I can't last long at that game or Joust or Robotron

BK2k like most system 11 games has some very cool music and light shows :D Sounds like you frequest Rec Games Pinball too?
I also frequent a canadian group: http://www.maaca.org/ for pinball discussions (plug plug) :P

Speaking of Robotron and MAACA this video comes from there to download:

MM is a great game (wish I can decide which one is better over my LOTR) :?: If I had the $5-6 K for one (and the space) it would be in my collection for sure!

I watched that Robotron video and for some reason had a little Deja Vu going on. Did that video also appear on the very old Williams emulation product that came out in the mid 90s or so?

I lurk in r.g.pinball, only posted a few times when my BK2K lost sound.
