Book Search: Getting Started On Your Commodore Vic 20

Post by SparkyNZ »

This has been bugging me for a while. I had the below book when I was a kid:

I would have thought I'd be able to find a PDF of it bask in some nostalgia but I can't find it anywhere. It isn't on the DLH Bombjack site or archive.org

Does anybody have a .pdf they would mind sharing please? (which I would gladly pass on to DLH Bombjack too).

Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.

Interesting...!

I found a Getting Started with you ZX Spectrum book which was pretty much the same. I just remember Dad picking up this book from a local newsagent and me, at the age of 10, trying to convince my Grandma to read it since she loved reading books.. The listings from the book themselves are available online - I forgotten where but it had "Snake", "Simon" and "Ski" which I remember.. and "Ecological Disaster" which I didn't understand at all at that age. Yeah, kids don't seem to appreciate 8x8 super heroes and NPCs these days

I'm sure that book will turn up some day.
