Hi there,

at the moment there is an auction at ebay.com which is very interesting for me but the seller will only ship to the USA.
Can somebody in the USA make this auction for me (not for free,i will pay for it )?!?!

There are a lot of nice auctions in the USA but often the seller will only ship to the USA.

Hi - I don't think it would work on your TV if it's a US C64. The video format is different. Or are you especially looking for an NTSC C64?

Hi,

i know that this is a NTSC C-64 and that it will not work on my TV, but this is a special collectors item..........the C-64 and the VIC-1541.

I´m searcing for such items a long time..........and now the seller will only ship to the USA........but i am from Germany..........that is the problem !!

And therefore i need some help from somebody in the USA .

Why don't you buy a c64 + 1541 in Germany? There must be a site similar to Ebay in Germany... I see them go all the time for crap money in Sweden. Take a look here: http://www.tradera.com/category/auction ... 1&sortBy=0
(And they ar PAL versions and I even think you use the same voltage (230v)...

Btw, I can't join Ebay because they use some security coding that doesn't work with my amiga internet browser...

Ok, the C-64 is one of the first ever build C-64 with the silber-label and the floppy-drive is a 1540,both with original packing,in very good condition.
And these items a hard to find............. :( :(

Btw: which browser do you use on your amiga ???
With IBrowse i do not have any problems in Ebay on my A-2000 Tower ( it is only a little bit slow, even on my blizzard 2060/50 Mhz) .

I have Ibrowse 2.3 (with keyfile) and it's supposed to support SSL. But I only get this message: (but in Swedish)

Can not open correct SSL-module. Controll that your protocol stack supports SSL and that it is correctly installed.

What does that mean? What is a protocol stack? Do they mean the TCP/IP Miami?

btw... Doesn't the 1540 only work with the vic-20?

And... Most video monitors and modern TVs supports NTSC display, so you can just get a german c64-power supply, a video cable and then you can use a NTSC c64 in Germany...

Oh dear, it was a while ago... I think the protocol stack means the set of protocols implented over TCP/IP in your browser/Internet connection. Not sure how to solve it on the Amiga.

I think the 1540 may work with a C64 whose display is closed (POKE 53265,0), but I've never had a reason to try it. Maybe NTSC peripherals are less picky about the timing differences than PAL ditto?

Seems you need a keyfile for Miami to be able to install MiamiSSL... What TCP/IP are you using? Miami?
