Yewdow (16k)

Place the arrows to change the direction of the car and pass all the flags to clear.

If the car goes off the screen or hits a rock, it's a failure.

If the car hits the wall, it will flip but the wall will disappear.

This is a clever action puzzler with a nice big screen area, cute well-drawn characters, and a looping tune. Very much in the style of the early Vic 20 carts made by HAL Laboratory. This is the first Inufuto game I have played and I really must try more ones. Pity they aren't optimized for the Vic, but still of a high enough quality to impress :D I am not sure if this is based on an arcade original. Some of his games seem like they are, but most seem to add quirks of their own.

I didn't fully understand the score mechanics, but different colored flags seem to have different values and a string of the same color doubles the values (like the ghosts in Pac Man)
