Interesting design of fuse

Should I be preserving this unique design of fuse that I found in an “untested” VIC that I picked up on E-Bay? :? :? :? :?

That's ever worse! I guess the message is that even if you buy something that functions perfectly on E Bay, still take it apart and check for surprises.
