That's fun. And you're right, it's expensive, and probably more expensive than fun.

But it sort of makes me wonder why more PCs haven't taken the integrated CPU/keyboard route. It probably has something to do with notebook PCs being around.

When I started college, I bought a V-Tech Laser Compact XT, which was a small IBM PC clone in an all-in-one housing. I bought it specifically because I liked that form factor. Apparently, V-Tech originally designed that case for an Apple II clone, which they sold a few years prior to repurposing the case. So cramming a boring computer into a retro case has been going on forever.

Well, mini-PCs are so... mini that they can sit anywhere on the desk, and the (wireless) keyboard is much smaller that a breadbox :)

That looks like someone bought the rights/plastic-moulds from the old Commodore USA company run by Barry Altman that existed around 2010 and was making the Commodore 64x PC.
